Error Code: 50120

Meaning:

Bot is unable to trade due to one of the following reasons:

1. The API key lacks the required permissions

• The key is missing “Trade” access
  
  

2. The user is restricted from trading derivatives

   • For example, the account is not verified (KYC) for futures

   • Derivatives trading may be disabled in the user’s region or settings

   
   



3. The leverage setting exceeds the maximum limit

• Each trading pair has a max leverage cap (e.g., 20x, 50x)

• Setting too high leverage will trigger permission denial

Solutions:

1. Check API Key Permissions:

Log in to your OKX account > API Management
Make sure the API key has:

• ✅ Enable Read

• ✅ Enable Trade

• ❌ Not set to View-Only

2. Verify Derivatives Access:

• Confirm your account has completed KYC verification

• Check if the account can trade futures or perpetuals

3. Use a valid leverage value:

• Try lowering the leverage (e.g., 5x or 10x)

• Confirm the trading pair's max leverage limit on OKX

4. If needed, create a new API key with correct permissions and rebind it to CoinTech2u. (Recommended to use Fast API to avoid any manual errors)
